| Introduction | Before motherhood, I worked in television news but I've found motherhood the most rewarding job. I'm observant, have good intuition and am a list maker. I never forget to see the big picture. I like to walk right up to that line but not cross it. I like to laugh. I like a friendly fight of wits and humor. I like taking a brisk walk. I like having a friend so close that you can't help but think they are family. I like a nice walk in the woods, especially the earthy smells, particularly after it rains. I like cool, rainy weather. I like to feel warm sand between my toes and wet grass beneath my feet. I do not like spiders, I don't like eggs or anything "eggy" like custard (only scrambled sometimes), and I'm not a big fan of sushi (sorry, I guess I'm just not cool). I like comfy pants and slippers. I love college football, Go Dawgs! I love being of Welsh heritage and anything Celtic. I love good food...especially cheese, guacamole, raw vegetables and anything spicy. I love wine. I love margaritas. My favorite things in the world are my husband and daughter and son, long hot showers, naps, and sitting on my deck with a book. |
