About Me

I live in Arlington, Texas. I am a business coach who specializes in working with small business owners. My biggest claim to fame is having been a Presidential Appointee to be Superintendent (General Manager) of the United States Mint (Philadelphia). This is the civilian equivalent protocol rank of a one star general. I have been a small business owner, president of a venture capital company, an executive in a Fortune 500 energy company, executive director of a non-profit community development company that operated a business incubator, a corporate trust banker and District Director for a U S Congressional District. I love studying about how to make things work. I also love sharing with people how to make their organizations work or work better. I have worked with all kinds of organizations including local police and fire departments, neighborhood organizations, youth groups, small businesses, state and federal government organizations and Fortune 500 companies. My all time favorite book is Life Control by Dr. Sheldon Glass. This book talks about how to be the leader to make things happen, even when all kinds of obstacles jump in the way.
