Introduction I am passionate about my faith, my family, and my friends!I am the oldest of nine kids and was born in England but grew up mostly in Maplewood, NJ. I graduated from BYU in Education, went on a church mission to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and enjoy being a mom, housekeeper, scrapper, blog addict, social butterfly, and Special Ed teacher. Tom is the oldest of four and was born in Utah but raised in New Mexico, He graduated from BYU in Recreational Management and is still working on a Masters/PhD in psychology. He went on a mission to Berlin, Germany. He enjoys being a dad, housekeeper?, a children's book writer, an artist, anything outdoors, and is now a Human Resource Director. We met our freshman year at BYU. He was my FHE "dad"(I had a crush on him). We met up again after our missions, University Villa Apts., where my best friend invited him to my 23rd birthday party (Thanks Mindy!) After 15 months of dating we got married in the St. George Temple! 12 years later we have four beautiful children, still laugh until we cry, go up in the mountains whenever we can, play practical jokes, blast loud music, have food fights (started by TOM!), and have tons of fun!
Interests I love to be with my family and friends! I am NOT a loner at all! I would much rather be with people than by myself! When I have a free moment I love to scrapbook and sew. And right now I am serving as the Primary secretary in my ward, we have 165 kids plus 60+ more in Nursery, and new families moving in weekly! It definately keeps me busy AND is fun, I love being with the kids!! Oh, and I spend way too much time blogging, but can there ever really be enough??
Favorite Movies I love all the Jane Austin movies and any romantic comedy...pretty much all the movies my husband won't watch with me!
Favorite Music Classic rock, alternative, some popular
Favorite Books I don't have time to read a lot! And when I do it will be scriptures..But I do like Harry Potter, Spiderwick, Chronicles of Narnia, (basically all the young adult books!)
