| Introduction | American-born Rabbi Eliezer Parkoff Studied for many years in Torah Ore, Jerusalem, under the tutelage of the world-renowned Gaon Ha-Rav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg, shlita, from whom he received Rabbinic ordination. He also was very close to the Mashgiach HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav Zeidel Epstein, zt"l from whom he received a derech in mussar. Rabbi Parkoff is one of the founders and Rashei Yeshiva of Yeshiva Shaare Chaim, Jerusalem, established close to thirty years ago as a forerunner of yeshivos in Israel especially geared for the American mesivta graduate. He and his colleagues strive to ensure that their students are adequately prepared to meet the challenges facing contemporary youth. Rabbi Parkoff’s acclaimed shiurim in Gemara, Halachah, Hashkafah and Mussar have helped develop a generation of young scholars, teachers, and bnei Torah, imbued with a deep sense of commitment to Torah Judaism. |
