| Favorite Music | I'm not too picky, but I lean towards rock, My all-time favorites that I can listen to all day: EAGLES & KANSAS & THE MANIC STREET PREACHERS, opprobrious to my rock persona I have a lot of CELINE DION CDs among my prog-classic-punk rock collection (the woman's voice gives me goosebumps - what can I say?), I'm also a New Age old fan: really into MIKE OLDFIELD & ENYA, and thanks to my daughters I've been introduced to epic metal: BLIND GUARDIAN & NIGHTWISH, From the Greek music scene I admire the voice of NIKOS XYLOURIS & stage performances of VASILIS LEKKAS, My most favorite ballad of all is "The Rose" by BETTE MIDLER |
| Favorite Books | everything by ISABEL ALLENDE, all of JORGE AMADO's works, as well as everything by ANTONIS SAMARAKIS, "How the Steel Was Tempered" by NIKOLAI OSTROVSKY, everything by ROBERT FULGHUM especially "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten", the epic "Pillars of the Earth" by KEN FOLLET, "So Long And Thanks For All The Fish" the fourth book of the inaccurately named 'Hitchhiker's Trilogy' by DOUGLAS ADAMS, the enchanting Harry Potter series by JK ROWLING that brought my childhood fantasy to life that someday-somehow-someone would reveal to me that I was a witch and magic really existed *sigh* |
