Highway wanderer, a cog in the wheels of corporate America, adventurer, beerhunter, music lover, devotee of "scattered, smothered & covered", computer nerd, Trekker, daydreamer, backpacker, part-time college instructor - guess that's a start. You could say I've never been one to worry too much about social convention and just like being myself. Granted, there is the piper to pay, so my days (and sometimes nights) are occupied in pursuit of the filthy lucre (a.k.a., the life of an on-call systems admin). I'm in the process of planning a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2008, followed by a stint of vagabonding, volunteering, couchsurfing, hostelling, whatever - round the world for a year. Time to escape the cubicle for awhile, I think.
