About Me

Food and the act of feeding people are my passions and eating local is a belief that I've based my life around. At this moment in time, it is imperative that we know where our food comes from and that it has been produced locally and sustainably. We must support the small local farms, for without them, we certainly will be in trouble. I travel in and around the Hudson Valley supporting the amazing farmers and food artisans whose bounty of beautiful produce and products dictate what I will be cooking on any given day. Food to me is beautiful, wheather it's a "Pineapple" or "Cherokee Purple" heirloom tomato, or a mix of just picked micro lettuces, I can't help but fall in love. Eating is an act of pleasure, in which all five senses should be engaged and stimulated, it is my intention to provide each and every being that I feed with a moment of pleasure.
