About Me

Saradha received an Eric Gregory Award in 2004 and facilitates poetry workshops and professional development for writers across London. Recent mentoring schemes and workshops with Spreadtheword include: Poetry intensives and Poetry Starters; a five week beginners course and Bodyworks an intermediate poetry course. Flight Mentoring schemes for young poets. Saradha has given readings of her work at the Royal festival hall, V & A Museum & the Essex Book festival. Her prose is published in Kin: New fiction by Black and Asian Women. (Serpents’ tail 2003) Her poems have been included in: Wasafiri vol 50,& Poetry Review vol 9 & the following anthologies: This Little Stretch of Life( HearingEye 2006), I am twenty people! (Enitharmon 2007), New Writing 15 (Granta /The British Council,2007), New Poetries IV(Carcanet Press2007) and the 2007 Oxford Poets Anthology (Carcanet Press).
