| Introduction | In the inner reaches of a (then) hermetically sealed bubble otherwise known as Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Donna led a happy but rather uneventful latch-key adolescence. The concrete playgrounds were dangerous, the italian ices cheap, and the potential neighborhood trendiness unrealized. Her musical world remained somewhere within the confines of Hanon's "the Virtuoso Pianist" and Casey Casem's Long Distance Dedication. Time passed and as the subway lost it's graffiti, the isle of Manhattan beckoned. There, high school introduced much more than trigonometry into this impressionable girl's existence. So began interest in sights not found on Friday Night Videos and sounds not offered by Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam. An empty bank account and a few hundred CDs later, a boy happened upon her and proposed the idea to merge their ever-growing collections into one, via internet radio. She merrily agreed.
