| Introduction | "What would it be like to know that all of my neighbors - and all of the other people who can make life Sweet - are actively Being the change they wish to see in their world?" That is my challenge, my question, my Quest, the change / wish to see in my world: I wish my neighbors - and everyone who can make my life Sweet - to see my goodness and my unique skills and talents, and ask me to bring the real, deep-down me to their lives. I wish to see and cultivate their goodness by knowing and inviting their unique skills and talents to come to life in return. Lastly, I wish that anyone with this wish finds Sweetness, confidence in their own goodness... and this marvelous, deep satisfaction. I am seeing the change I wished to see in my world. In my business, called Inside-Out Sustainable, I play 5 roles: ~ Like a spiritual temp agency, I feel out what kind of work I wish to do next, listen for people's needs, and meet them; ~ I refer neighbors to one another; ~ I actively support neighbors in creating a culture of get-togethers; ~ I write, teach, research, and report; ~ I'm a freelance consultant. |
