About Me

Born and raised on Long Island, just thirty short miles from the center of trade book publishing, I grew up loving novels and wanting to write them myself. After doing everything but (book editing, newspaper reporting, magazine writing, web content writing, business writing and editing), I'm finally taking the plunge. Luckily, my husband and two sons are very supportive--and tolerant. My two cats get a little annoyed on those days when they have to wait till 4 pm for breakfast, however.
