gary@garywill.com Work with organizations accelerating regional economic development through the creation and growth of innovation-based companies in Southwestern Ontario. For the last eight years, have managed and delivered programs funded by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation and Industry Canada, working with hundreds of early-stage and startup companies. I helped create the Waterloo startup community—co-founding WatStart in 2004, then starting up Communitech's venture services group and overseeing initiatives related to startups for nearly four years. Later worked with the Accelerator Centre and as an executive-in-residence with the Ontario Network of Excellence (ONE) program. For 14 years, I published the Waterloo Tech Digest, delivered to 5,000 subscribers each month. |
