Introduction Mr. Floore grew up in Chicago. He is the father of two children: Tom and Jill; and he is the grandfather of five grandkids, Spencer, Savannah, Owen, Sophia and Eliza Mae. Tom is an executive for Sports Authority and Jill is a Chief Financial Officer for a school district in Delaware. Mr. Floore has degrees from Elmhurst College in business and education. He has been teaching middle school for seven years and elementary school for eleven years. Before that he worked in the grocery industry in retailing and distribution. Mr. Floore was the Student Teacher of the Year in 1992. That was the first time at Elmhurst College that an evening student who had most of his classes with the adjunct faculity ever won this award. Mr. Floore was accepted to attend the Masters Program at the University of Chicago and was selected to teach in their laboratory schools. Mr. Floore is in his last year of teaching and he plans to retire and stay in the Tucson area.
Interests Reading, fishing, photography. He loved his Basset hounds Dickens and Einstein. Once retired Mr. Floore will help a friend write a book.
