Introduction After retiring and moving here to Chatsworth Township in Grey County Ontario in 2002 with my DH and Old English Sheepdog, Micky, I was able to realize a dream of not only gardening on an acreage, but to have in my "back yard" a woods with many beautiful trails to explore, woodland plants and ferns to become acquainted with, birds in our yard that I had never heard of, and 6 km. of back country ski trails in winter, thanks to a generous friend and neighbor. The summer after we moved in, my DH built me a good sized greenhouse for my plant addiction and the property has evolved to include numerous flower gardens, vegetable gardens and a pond with waterfall. I belong to the Rural Gardens of Grey and Bruce, www.ruralgardens.ca , the Saugeen Artists www.saugeenartists.ca, The Grey County Artists and I have recently become fascinated with working with wire in simple, graceful lines, enhanceing gemstones and my hand rolled and hand woven Japanese paper beads. We are now enjoying our new Old English Sheepdog puppy, Ozzie, who is giving us daily laughter with his antics. He approaches everything and every situation with gusto.
Interests Enjoying life with my DH and Old English Sheepdog Ozzie, gardening, bird watching, knowing and preserving my surroundings, creating unique cards, cooking and photography, and now! Working with wire, metal, gemstones and Japanese paper to make hand formed jewelry.
