Introduction | I am a SAHM, (previous NICU nurse) to five wonderful children and one in our heart. My kids are truly amazing and the joy of my life. Our youngest was unexpectedly born with a rare form of dwarfism in 2006. Over the following years, we learned that although he was small, he was mighty. We also learned that dwarfs are considered a bad omen in most other countries. This knowledge set us on the path of adoption January, 2011 we found our daughter FeiFei and in May - God placed a little by with significant lower limb issues. Both children came home 2 days before Christmas 2011. But that is not the end of this story. Just 2 months home, we were sure it was God's plan for one more. So against all common sense, we are returning to China this year for our son, also with dwarfism. He turned 2 on mother's day 2012. We are nervous, excited but most importantly choosing to follow God's plan. |
