About Me

I grew up shy and awkward in North Carolina, a good student but a lousy socializer. Along the way I picked up social skills and studied mathematics, then computer graphics. I worked for a while at IBM as an assembly-language programmer, then went on to BOPS, a spinoff, and had a marvelous time programming on a parallel DSP. After two failed marriages (producing one daughter) I met and married a Dutchman, had two more babies, and moved to the Netherlands. My passion for languages led me to translation. I found a hole in the market and opened a webstore selling stickers to the Dutch; it keeps on growing. And I'm still fascinated by programming and graphics.
