You've been invited to a fancy ball but the only thing you have to wear is an orange wooly jumper. What shoes do you wear?

If I was invited to a fancy ball, it could only be to write a story about it, to profile someone actually attending the ball. I am not a ball person. So naturally I'd wear my jumper with my paisley Dansko clogs. I save them for special occasions.
