If age were a state of mind, I'm 30. Reality check... I'm 52. I have hopefully gained some insight and wisdom along the way. I have the most incredible, supportive husband, NY, two darling grown sons, B age 30 and T age 26, and a darling daughter-in-law, M. I'm blessed to be the grandmother of three delightful little ones, Monkey Boy age 8, Bear age 5, and The Princess age 2. I love keeping up and in touch with family and friends through blogging. I love to sew, garden, read and watch old movies but mostly I love to be with my NY.

• Impressions are made upon us starting at age one. I believe that to be true. The music I know best is the music I don't remember learning. My sisters Diana and Mary are thirteen and eleven years older than me. I suppose that is why the music from the 50's and the 60's will always be my favorite. My most impressionable years were filled with my sister's music.
