Introduction Coming from a long line of great cooks on both sides of my family, I have had a love for preparing cuisine for company faire, family meals, and parties. My Irish grandma Anna Wade's specialty was jams and jellies which grandpa sold en route as a salesman. Their daughter Mickey, my aunt, was the head chef of the Heritage Inn, Lincoln, IL frequented by judges and lawyers from Springfield to sample my Aunt's wonderful dishes. As kids we had Thanksgiving dinner at Auntie's restaurant and at her home all us cousins ran to sit down at the dinner table for the best chicken and dumplings in the world. My Czech/German Aunt Grace attended a special girl's academy which handed her recipes she taught her daughters. My dad's cooking inspired me also. I have taken various classes under chefs and caterers,and two seasoned Italian women friends who prepare for the Italian Feast, Melrose Pk, at their home, recipes brought home from Italy. I've traded recipes with master chefs, and I also attended cooking school receiving my certificate in Basics and Gourmet Cooking.
