| Introduction | As a child my favorite toys were my Play Doh and my E-Z Bake Oven, and I can remember being giddy learning how to make a paper mache dinosuar in 4th grade. This evolved into a lifelong love of creative ventures. I have grown my own produce, decorated wedding cakes, painted, scrapbooked my memories, knitted, crocheted, cross-stitched, made glass beads, sock puppets, Halloween costumes, baby food...you get the point. It's not just about art or food; it's about the feeling of accomplishment that comes from making something with your own two hands, of appreciating the craft at its most basic level. I love the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none." I'm not interested in being the best at any one thing - that is a respectable but narrow vision, better left to someone else. I want to try it all! |
