| Introduction | Hello and welcome to Beck'sInTheKitchen. I'm Becky, nicknamed Beck, and I love being creative in the kitchen. I enjoy perusing cookbooks especially those with "old fashioned, from scratch" recipes and finding great recipes online. Collecting recipes that are tried and true and those just waiting to be tried is my hobby. My favorite type of recipe is one with few ingredients. Cooking shouldn't be complicated and you shouldn't need to break the budget to be able to enjoy good food. Many times the images of the finished product will make me want to try a recipe. Recipes without photos or those with black and white photos are boring. How can you appreciate the wonderful flavor and taste of food if you can't see the final product or if it's presented in black and white? Crafting is my other passion. I enjoy working on projects that can be completed quickly. Patience isn't exactly my virtue! That's why spray painting and transforming thrift store trash to treasures is so much fun.
