About Me
I sew therefore I am! Yea right! I sew because I find that sewing is cheaper than a shrink! I am an "empty nester" mom, sniff, sniff, very sad! My children live all over the place, China, Australia and California. They learned to spread their wings at a young age and did so with a vengeance, lol! I also have five of the most incredible and beautiful grandchildren on the planet....just another proud Grandma! Been married to my soul-mate for over 35 years, and we still make each other laugh! I am a self taught doll maker and pattern designer and very proud of it, but if anybody has any hints on how to make money at this I would be happy, ecstatic, to listen! I have been fortunate enough to have been published in Country Marketplace magazine (no longer with us, darn) Country Sampler, Country Living and Better Homes and Gardens. I have over 200 patterns and hope to be converting all of them to e-pattern format within the next year. I have been designing dolls longer than I care to remember, 18 years.

- reading to watching grass grow...heh heh! I live in an old
- very old 101 year old country store. Looks like it leaped from the tv screen of "The Waltons" and my backyard is 100 acres on top of the Blue Ridge Mountains. So I seriously watch the grass grow...along with the deer

- bears
- rabbits
- raccoons
- and a cast of hundreds! Not to mention the hundred different birds I get dining at my 5 bird feeders! Life is good!

- I am a Celtic and Blue Grass fiend....Having an entire family involved in music my favorites are vast! You will find me listening to music with absolutely no idea what they are singing about but I love it...like Cirque De Soile
