Introduction	The beginnings of Kelab Roadrunners Ipoh (KRI) can be traced back to the time in the early 1980’s when a group of cavalier young men and women in Ipoh met regularly to run together as a leisure pursuit, and found immense health and social benefits from the activity. Their passion and commitment led to the formation of KRI in 1988; with the primary objection of promoting running as a fitness activity among the community of Ipoh. Since then it has grown from strength to strength to become the premier running club in Perak, and now works in collaboration with Perak Cycling Club to also promote cycling as a complementary sport. KRI is today widely recognized and highly respected as The organizer of major race events in Perak. With more than 20 years of experience in race planning, organization and management, KRI is outsourced by organizations throughout the state to organize all manner of running and (of late) cycling events, from company runs to large scale races, providing valuable support services and input to ensure every event is a success for organizer, sponsor and participant alike.
