Ulrich Tausend

About Me

After spending some time in television production, Ulrich Tausend co-founded the company Neodelight in 2000. Neodelight developed the mobile phone and browser-based massively multiplayer game “Zoing” which was published by Vodafone-Germany. Neodelight also designed one of the first MMS games for Ericsson. Today Neodelight produces browser-based games and runs its own casual games website (www.neodelight.com). After being sold out of Neodelight by the Indian 7Seas Technologies in January 2008, Ulrich completed his master’s degree at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich in Sociology, Political Science and Psychology January 2009. His master’s thesis was on the topic “Explanatory Models of Computer Gaming Behaviour” focusing on the differentiation of casual and hardcore games. Since May 2009 he is running the research department at remote control productions.
