| Introduction | I am in my mid 30's and live in England. My parents joined the church when i was a child and i have grown up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or Mormon if you like. I went through the Young Men's programme, graduated from 4 years of seminary (all early morning!), i went through the temple (pre-1990) and served a mission for 2 years. Since returning i have married in the temple and we have 3 beautiful children. I have had numerous callings in both Ward and Stake PECs, including the Bishopric. I say this not to boast, but to illustrate that i didn't get baptised 6 months ago and then decided it 'wasnt for me'. My disbelief has come as something of a personal trauma that i am still coming to terms with. My wife and extended family are still 'firm in the faith' and it is due to this difficult situation that i remain 'in the closet' as it were about my loss of testimony.
