Introduction	I'm a fairly typical over-educated Manhattan dweller. Raised in the Bay Area, I first came to the east coast for college. I thought that I would do a typical two year stint in New York City following graduation, but instead I totally fell in love with the city and, with the exception of two years in Philadelphia for graduate school, have been here for the past seven years. After dragging a friend of mine to one too many obscure establishments in this city that I adore, she insisted that I start a blog about "my" New York. So here it is.
