| Introduction | We are a husband and wife who both work in education. Allie is a former teacher (grades 2,3 4, and 5), and now a speech language pathologist. Joe is a first grade teacher and has also taught in grades 2, 3, and 4. We live in San Luis Obispo, CA and have two dogs. Josey is an Australian Cattle Dog. Isa (short for Isabel) is a street dog that we adopted while teaching in Costa Rica. We taught at an international school there for three years - what an incredible country!
