| Introduction | My work with the National Urban Alliance (NUA) began five years ago when I became a member of the first teacher cohort at Edina High School. Since then, I have presented at the 2006 NUA National TFI Conference. I am a certified Thinking Maps trainer, and I attended the intensive NUA Summer Academy in both 2007 & 2008. This school year I will be teaching two sections of World Literature for seniors, one section of English 10, and coaching other teachers on culturally responsive strategies for the rest of my time. |
