| Introduction | Allow me to preface this shortened autobiography with a hardy welcome. As you continue reading, you will learn a fraction of who I am. Allow me to invite you to pear into my world. I was born to a wonderful Cuban mother in April of '75. I have a sweet older sister. I overcame being deaf, battled cancer twice. I've been married, divorced, and now remarried to an amazing man who is the embodiment of everything I had wanted and lacked, especially in these last few years. I have one magnificent son who is my world! Of all my accomplishments, by far my son is the best one. As I mentioned early on, this is but a fraction of my life. I am a mother, a survivor, a fighter. I am a daughter of God! I am a political activist, a freedom fighter. I am a gentle soul, a beautiful person, an intelligent, sophisticated woman who loves jazz music, but when I am going to the beach I must have my hair in a pony tail listening to 80’s music. I love my cotton candy, coconut smelling perfumes, make-up and lotions. I love my hippie-chic bags, loose jeans, flip flops, sunglasses and tee shirts. I am so much more. So, follow my bogs and hopefully you will get to know me a little better. |
