About Me
I have been studying and speaking on this subject since 1990 and quilting since 1979. Don't let the PhD get in the way. I used to practice as a clinical psychologist, and do this on the side. In September 2004 I changed to this field for my primary playground, making discoveries as a quilt historian and reseacher instead of a psychologist. It's not all that different! (I give talks on either subject) If you are looking for a speaker to show and tell about antique and vintage quilts, please contact me! I'd love to share my passion for quilts and the women's history around them with your guild, museum or group. I have a large collection of antique quilts and textiles or we can show and I'll tell your group's quilts from family and flea market finds. they all have a story. I teach workshops too.
