About Me
I'm John. I'm from the North East of England, born and bread, with a normal (ie abnormal) family. We get on most of the time, but none of them are particularly religious, so they don't feature very much what I may write. I'm Catholic, though not Roman (yet?), for the moment part of the stranded and paradoxically orthodox branch of Anglicanism which doesn't quite know what to do yet. I would imagine I'll end up swimming the Tiber, in fact I want to most of the time. Like most people in my situation, going to Rome should be paradise, leaving Anglicanism could be hell. I've already spoken to a few bloggers who are/have been in similar situations. If there are any more of you, get in touch.. I'm black and white, and not in the traditional, Geordie sense of the phrase! Like (I would imagine) most people I can see in myself some of the most wonderfully holy and despairingly sinful aspects of mankind. That might complicate things a bit. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy listening to me ramble on. A note to foreigners, I hope you enjoy some of the dry English humour and views you may find here. Enjoy!
