| Introduction | Born in the capital of the confederacy and transplanted to very southern North Carolina, I know southern ways and southern sways. I have seen my Republican daddy campaign for Nixon and then years later vote for Clinton. I have seen my 83 year old Republican mother-in-law swoon over John Edwards during the Kerry campaign. I have seen her despise Hillary during the Clinton years and of late get fired up listening to Hillary speak--and consider voting for her.
