| Introduction | I was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. My younger brother and I were both brought up in the Catholic Church even though my mom didn’t become Catholic until I was around seven years old. I attended Catholic schools from fourth grade through high school. In high school and college, I was very involved on the speech and debate team. My goal in life was to someday be a stay-at-home dad, coach debate, and raise basset hounds. God had different plans. On May 23, 2009 I was ordained a priest of Jesus Christ for the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. I am serving at a large suburban parish and am the chaplain for an area high school. I am a big fan of the Kansas City Royals, fantasy football, Mary, and bacon (not necessarily in that order). |
