About Me
This website is called "banjeroo" only because I play an old Vega banjo in the clawhammer style (with gusto and minimal skill), and because one of my gazillion nicknames is Roo. Hands up if your nickname is also Roo. (Let's see, 1, 2, 3... 68,399,264 of you? Wow.) I'm writing sort-of anonymously because my pals and fam already know who I am, and the rest of you fall into one of these categories: A) won't benefit in any way, financial, material, spiritual, or otherwise, by knowing my actual identity, OR 2) are creepy stalkers, OR III) are co-workers who I don't want reading this thing. I love being outside and have all kinds of cockamamey schemes that will get me living in the country some day, making jam and maybe teaching canoeing for a living. Now how about you?
