Introduction	I'm a planner. My son was born in March 2010. Long before he arrived, in another life, some of my favorite issues of "Outside" and "Backpacker" magazines were the annual gear issues. I like gear. Before my son got here, I obsessively studied the book "Baby Bargains" to figure out what the best gear was, and also how I could save money, because I love a bargain. Now I have a blog so I can share how I prepare!
