Introduction Emelia Ennin is a Business and Environmental Reporter with the Daily Guide/Business Guide newspapers. She studied at the University of Ghana, for her first degree and has a diploma in Communication Studies from Ghana Institute of Journalists. Popularly called Mimi, she is married to Edmund Abbey. Further studies have seen Mimi partake in a two months training with InWent, a German capacity Building organization in Business and Economic Reporting (April-June, 2008) as well as visit South Korea, Seoul in May 2007 as one of eight participants from Africa for the Next-Future Generation Leaders Programme. She also joined the Foundation for Female Photojournalists in 2003. Mimi is currently the Focal Person on Water for the West African Water Sanitation and Hygiene Journalists Network (WASH-JN. She can speak and write a bit of conversational French. She was adjudged the Best Environmental Journalists of the year in 2010 by the Ghana Journalists Association of which she is a member. She is loyal, hard working and a lady with a lot of determination and a vision to be a world award winning journalist.
