I'm a full-time sportswriter for a daily newspaper. It's my first job since graduating college and I'm estatic to be in the field. Most of my work entails covering high school and local college sports, but I'm also fortunate enough to report about professional sports and local events. I'm the beat writer for the San Diego Padres Class Low-A minor league affiliate Fort Wayne Wizards. This blog is independent of my employer. My goal is to use Construda as a forum to develop my writing voice by expressing opinions on topics I typically don't through my full-time work.
