About Me

With 4 very young children with a 5th due in October my jaunts out to my local patch are somewhat curtailed....so I tend to try to get out early and local. I do 99% of my wildlife watching at New Hythe/Leybourne Lakes which is a mile or so from my home as well as the North Downs around where I live. This area, although heavily populated, is rich in wildlife. This Blog will record the birds, butterflies, dragonflies, damelflies, interesting insects, reptiles, mammals and plants that I see during my regular visits to my patch and surrounding area.

• I have a wide interest in British Wildlife particularly birds
• butterflies. I am also interested in photography but I am not very good at it!
