About Me

I'm a classically trained cellist who became a steel pan player while at Oberlin College, and never looked back! I moved to the DC area in 1999 in large part to play with Pan Masters Steel Orchestra. I started working at HMT back in '99 "until I got a real job," and grew to love the place. I'm still playing, arranging music and teaching pan classes with Pan Masters. I've played with many other steelbands in the DC area, Baltimore, New York and Trinidad. At HMT you'll usually see me hiding behind the computer where I'm answering emails, managing our eBay store and compiling web updates. Managing HMT is a big job (about to get bigger) and I do a bit of everything.
