| Introduction | About me? I could write about anyone, anything or anyplace but when it comes to writing about myself, I become tongue tied... the most important thing in relation to this blog is that I have a strong passion, well, obsession with everything food from the quality and origin of the ingredients to how they are best used, which cooking implements bring me the most joy (olive wood spoons and marble pastry boards, drool...) and the reactions I get from my most loved friends and family (especially my husband) when I present them with my latest culinary creation...(even if it is a bad reaction...) The intangible thing that brings me the most happiness and satisfaction in the world is being able to share a warm conversation with a dear friend or family member over a great meal that leaves everyone heavily satisfied... food has a way of bringing the best out in people and of course, bringing people together. There will always be a certain nostalgia attached to a hearty meal with red wine and mismatched napkins that I can never get enough of. When I am not 'doing' I am 'thinking' about doing, which brings me to my next thought, what will I make for dinner tonight? |
