Introduction | Mr. and Ms P enjoy making things. We stay at home most of the time. Ms P was a teacher, of science, math, English and, a long time ago, of music. Mr. P is retired military. Before we met each other, we each had lived in Japan, so we often speak a little Japanese to each other. Ms P enjoys some Japanese crafts, as well as sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Mr. P finishes wooden toys and does a little leather work. |
Favorite Music | Bach, Bartok, Vaughn Williams, Hindemith, Beethoven's 6th, Mahler's 5th |
Favorite Books | too many to list, but if we could have only one, we'd choose the Bible |
Try making up the rules to a game where you tie knots in a yo-yo string just to see if you can get them out:
1. The knots must be tight. 2. Start at the yoyo end of the string. Each knot must be tied in order. That is, the 3rd tied knot cannot be between the 1st and 2nd tied knots. 3. The untying must proceed from the first tied knot and go in order. 4. Only fingers and fingernails will be used to untie the knots. 5. Buy new string, cut off the knotted one, and restring the yoyo.
