About Me

I am a mother of five, wife to one and designer of many many things! My career in design started with clothing design under my own label, The Handmaiden, and slowly worked itself into freelance product design. I've had many interesting stops along the way in my artistic path which include gallery shows of paintings, a line of handbags, a line of handpainted bowls and then theres the mothering, which is truly an art form. I am currently designing for the gift, home, and textile industries and always have something new happening. Mostly I absorb everything around me... giggling kids, meaningful talks about nothing with my husband.....and try to give back something just as delightful and perfect. This blog has replaced an office of co-workers, that thankfully, I've never had. You're so much cooler.
