| Introduction | Why Celtic? I was born a McDonough. My paternal grandparents came to the US via Ellis Island. Why Monk? I have spent 25 years visiting monasteries, as its there that I most authentically find Gods Presence freely and abundantly. In July of 2011 I completed candidacy as a Benedictine Oblate of Saint Johns Abbey. The Rule of Benedict is the basis I have chosen for ordering my life in God. I have lived my baptismal promises through my call to ordained ministry, having pastored 8 churches 6 of them Presbyterian Church USA. PEACE RIVER SPIRITUALITY CENTER is a ministry of Spiritual Direction, silent retreats; pastoral support to churches and individuals. I lead a meditation group each week.
