| Introduction | Hi, I am Amanda and I am doing a Bachelor of Nursing/ Applied Science (Psychology) at the Geelong Waurn Ponds/Waterfront campus. I am originally from Melbourne and an aspiring writer, hoping to one day be a published author. When I was new at Deakin, it was hard to find my way around and I got lost often, but I made quite few friends simply by asking other students for help. So I recommend talking to random students - they could turn out to be great friends. I also made friends in study groups and by talking to people in my classes, so I definitely recommend organising study groups. They are a great way to make friends!
