Introduction I'm not about to give away my age, but let's just say that I have been a designer since the age of 10. I would not have the skills I possess today were it not for my mothers' historically important DNA!! After researching costume design of the Italian Renaissance for an opera in the summer of 2007 about Michelangelo, I also learned of my grandfathers' connection to the Medicis of Renaissance Italy. The Orsini-Medici Dynasty lasted some 400 years, producing 3 Popes with Orsini blood in their veins! The family tree also reveals a connection to Mary Queen of Scots and James I of Scotland!! The two merged families' great fortune was responsible for the patronization of Michelangelo, DaVinci, Raphael, Titian, Dante, Brunelleschi, and so many more. There is still a medieval castle (Odescalchi) on Lake Bracciano, in Italy, that up until the 1700's, was owned by the Orsini's. It is the very same castle that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were married in! My education at RISD gave me basic design, art history, and apparel design technical training. I am an award winning designer, and was in 2002, recognized by the RI State Council on the Arts and Humanities.

Compose the lyrics to a new national anthem that features an animal sound at least once:

Could it be possible that The Wizard of Oz was really about two girls fighting over a pair of shoes?
