| Introduction | Hi, I am a recent Textiles graduate from Manchester Metropolitan University.My focus was to create luxurious and unique textile pieces that appeal to our human desire for more personalised and handmade products within our homes. By using luxurious baby alpaca yarns, which are hand dyed and spun, and using methods such as intarsia and inlay, these designs are rich in texture and contrasting colours. Combining knit, embroidery and felting this collection represents a more contemporary style of knitting that reflects a handmade appearance. My work will be developing further in the next year and I will be producing many new products such as knitted and digital printed scarves, cushions, blankets also developing my range of greetings cards and wrapping paper.
