| Introduction | I am too honest for law or politics. I am most fundamentally concerned about my country. I am concerned that the Obama administration has marginalized the medical professional and convinced Americans that physicians/surgeons are interchangeably commodities. They are not. Some doctors are terrible. Some are great. You have the right to be a team with your doctors. I cared for my elderly dad for 3 years until he died in January 2010. I saw first hand how medical care for older patients is rationed. I have experienced terrible hospitalists refuse to communicate, cooperate or coordinate with my dad's clinic physicians. The result-dad died in pain and scared. |
