| Introduction | I'm a student of physics and philosophy who is passionate about both subjects, particularly their intersection. Some things I spend a lot fo time thinking about: -Cognitive science of science/philosophy -Epistemology, particularly formal epistemology -Experimental philosophy -Foundations of physics (foundational issues in QM/QFT and GR) -General philosophy of science (evidence, realism/anti-realism, theory choice, etc.) -History of science -Mathematical physics -Metaphilosophy -Metaphysics and metametaphysics (particularly the idea of science-as-metaphysics) -Philosophy of physics -Quantum gravity (both string theory and alternative approaches) -Theoretical high-energy/particle physics I also have a layman's interest in evolutionary biology, and am involved in science education, liberal politics, LGBT activism, and atheism/skepticism. |
