About Me

I am a massage therapist and yoga teacher and I live in Shilbottle, Northumberland. *** I love what I do and love to do it well. While I was living in London I had the honour of working with a great variety of lovely clients from all walks of life. I was once reviewed by Time Out magazine's health and fitness supplement who kindly declared that I 'perform magic'! Most recently I qualified as a practitioner of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage - a deep and rhythmic form of massage that combines the resting nature of massage with some wonderful yoga stretches. *** Yoga and massage go together really well and as I started sharing more of my own experience with my massage clients in London I decided to train as a teacher with the British Wheel of Yoga. I am especially interested in the history and philosophy of yoga and its use as a tool for relaxation and concentration. I strongly believe in the power of the mind and the breath to heal the body and work in this way with all of my clients.
