| Introduction | I spend most of my day making and cleaning up messes. Plenty of those take place in the kitchen where I make, bake, cook and eat healthy stuff from scratch. I live in the country and love (almost) every minute. I married a wonderful and creative guy who composes music, writes novels, builds everything, and ... is my complete and total opposite. We have five awesome kids who are a blessing in every sense of the word. I've never laughed and cried so hard in my life. My children were born at home with love (and responsibility).I love to make lists. My bed is made every morning so even if I get nothing else done, I can at least retreat. Yellow things make me smile. So do clean babies, rainy days and good conversations. Big trucks and dinosaurs terrify me. I still enjoy the possibilities in a new box of crayons. I need to feel original and different. I like going against the grain. I want my life to be anything but conventional and expected. I can't see myself working "9-5" and I don't think I'll ever go back to "school" to get a "degree" but I see myself providing for my family in a different less conventional way. |
